The Old Beechworth Gaol is a must-visit, playing a key role in the Ned Kelly story. Ned, his mother Ellen, brother Dan and many of their supporters were all held within the granite walls of the gaol.
Built in the 1860s from stone quarried on site, the gaol is a striking example of gold rush architecture that still stands strong today.
Join a 60-minute guided tour any day of the week, with extra sessions during holiday periods. Plan your visit now - book online or grab your tickets at the on-site café.
