The 200th anniversary of the Hume and Hovell expedition passing through this country will be commemorated this November.
The bicentenary will be marked with a special event starting at the Hume and Hovell Centenary cairn on the Stanley- Myrtleford Road at 10am and then moving to the Stanley Athenaeum for Friends of Stanley Athenaeum exhibition 'They Passed This Way' and morning tea.
