The house offers unique and superb views capturing a shimmering lake with ducks and abundant bird life just metres from the house.
Most of the main rooms have large windows, taking advantage of wonderful sights such as people boating, fishing and swimming. Guests can dine al fresco on the patio or picnic at Lake Sambell's picnic area where you will find barbecue facilities and a playground.

A bocce/cricket pitch and outdoor furniture are also situated outside the house. Visitors are welcome to fish and swim opposite the house or take one of the many scenic walking tracks nearby. The house is also situated at the start of the Rail Trail bike track and is close to the tennis court, library, shops and places of interest such as the Chinese Gardens, Beechworth Cemetery, Beechworth Gaol, Beechworth Bakery, Queen Victoria Park, Visitor Information Centre and the Historical Precinct.
